FEBRUARY 2008

Gig News

Well, February is a bit of a slow month. Come to think of it, so is March, April, May......

However, I will be at Poppy’s Folk Club on Friday 7th to do an “Extended Floor Spot” as part of my attempt to catch a gig at this place!

Poppy’s is in the Function Room at Yateley Industries, on the corner of Mill Lane and Reading Road.  Details from Kathy and Felix on 01252 872337. Yes...they are the same Kathy and Felix who co-run Windmill Acoustic Club where I played in November. Apparently I still got to do an “Extended Floor Spot”...just to make sure?

If all goes well, I could be playing there in September or thereabouts.

2009

I’ve had a few tentative offers for 2009!!

I may be at the Anchor in Byfleet in January 2009. However, as they really want someone to do a Burns Night Special, I may not be the best bet, as my sets are not really Burns or all Scottish Trad, even. However, we’ll see.
